Joining the ranks of Generation Chefs will provide you (but not limit you) to the following types of culinary awareness:

• Kitchen Terminology - From "packing out" to "mis en place" - you'll learn the language of cooking
• Safety and Sanitation
• Knife Skills
• Public Speaking - learning about cooking demonstrations, presenting recipes to other club members
• Job Training - work with chefs on Cooking Events, Chef Stages and catering events
• Work at the new Generation Chef Culinary Center and Cafe
• Food - trying new types of food, learning how various foods are used in cooking, identifying herbs and how they are used in the cooking process
• Events - Learning the fine art of prepping for an event and how to cook as a team
• Shopping - Learn how to shop efficiently and effectively
• Cooking - Learn how to cook delicious food for yourself, family and friends, save money by preparing your own meals and use whole foods to improve the nutritional value of what you eat
• Recipes - testing recipes and creating your own!
• Social - network with other Gen Chefs who are food enthusiasts!
• Meet and be taught by top chefs in your area

As a member of Generation Chefs, you will be given a guide on how to move through the club gaining various types of degrees. Successfully completing the varying degrees will allow you to build items of your culinary tool kit!

The costs associated with membership include the following:
